empathy and positive regard. I specialize in areas of anxiety, stress, trauma, self-identity,
parenting and perinatal mental health. It is my goal to create a space in which you feel
protected and comfortable enough to share your story.

About Me

I am a First-Generation Canadian with South Asian roots. I spent a great deal of my childhood
travelling and have always been captivated by other cultures – specifically how different
communities find value and happiness. I believe these childhood experiences played a large
role in my desire to expand my worldview and establish an inclusive practice grounded in
humility and discovery.


My affinity for therapeutic work stems from my own lived experiences with racism, self-
identity, adoption, cultural dissonance, pregnancy and motherhood. My personal experience
has led me to understand that at our core we are all human beings looking for meaning. I am
very intentional in my purpose to facilitate change and help individuals achieve healing. I am
deeply grateful for the work I do and the important connections I am able to create.

In my free time I love to read, bake, scrapbook, walk my dog, and spend time with my
husband and daughter.

My Approach

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

A form of therapy that helps you to find resolution through identifying goals, tracking progress and monitoring change.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

An approach that uses mindfulness based
practices and cognitive therapy to break unhelpful patterns and negative emotions by bringing awareness to present thoughts and sensations.

Narrative Therapy

An externalistic and deconstructive approach that allows you to use your
personal narrative to explore life events and the meaning placed on these events.

Culturally Sensitive

An approach that fosters awareness, appreciation and acceptance of all cultural beliefs and practices.
